What we collect, and why
Draft. This summary describes what the JamiezShipz site actually collects today. It will be replaced by the Jamiez privacy policy once counsel approves it.
Last updated September 25, 2026. JamiezShipz is a service of Jamiez LLC, 2280 Lincoln Ave., Suite 150, San Jose, CA 95125.
When you request a pickup
- Your name, phone number, email and pickup address, so we can come by and reach you.
- What we're picking up, including any QR codes, labels and photos you upload, so we can drop off the right items.
- The date and time you accepted the Terms, the document versions, and the internet address you sent the request from, as a record of that acceptance.
How we use it
Only to provide and confirm your pickups, keep a record of each hand-off, and contact you about your request. We send texts only if you agree, only about your pickups, and never for marketing. We don't sell your information.
Who handles your information
Our website host (Vercel) and database provider (Supabase) store your requests for us. When you ask for a postage estimate, only the destination ZIP code and the parcel's size and weight go to EasyPost to fetch carrier rates. Carriers such as USPS and FedEx receive what's printed on the shipping label.
Tracking and Do Not Track
This site doesn't use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies, and no other company collects information about your activity across websites through it. Because we don't track visitors across sites, your browser's Do Not Track setting doesn't change anything here.
Photos
Our team photographs your items at pickup, after packing and at drop-off, to document their condition and where they went. These photos aren't shared publicly or used in marketing.
Your choices and questions
To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or with any other question, contact Jamiez LLC at hello@jamiez.com or (408) 320-9890. We verify requests before acting on them.
Changes to this summary
