PILOT · We're testing JamiezShipz with a small group of Willow Glen households. No payment is taken online. What this means
Services and limits

What we do, and what we don't

JamiezShipz is part of Jamiez's household errands service. Every request is confirmed by a Jamiez team member before we come by, and anything outside these services may be declined.

Returns

We collect items with a retailer QR code or prepaid label and take them to the drop-off the retailer chose. Items can be unboxed when the retailer allows it, as with Amazon's no-box returns.

Pack and ship

We pack your items in a new box, weigh and measure them, buy postage for you, and drop the parcel with USPS or FedEx.

Parcels you've labeled

Already packed with your own label? We pick it up and drop it off with the carrier on the label.

Holding deliveries while you're away

For Jamiez members: on the days you choose, we collect deliveries left outside and place them inside the area you name, such as your garage. We photograph each one and never open packages. We don't take deliveries away to store them.

Document delivery

We deliver sealed documents to a local address you name. We don't read or review documents, and we can't promise delivery by a deadline.

Notary introductions

We introduce you to our partner mobile notary, an independent business that sets and bills its own fees. California caps notary fees at $15 per signature.

Limits

  • Up to 50 lb per item. For anything heavier, tell us in your request and we'll quote it or let you know we can't.
  • We're responsible for your items from pickup until the carrier or drop-off counter accepts them, up to $100 per package.
  • Items declared at more than $2,500 need our approval before pickup.
  • After drop-off, the carrier's own terms apply, including its delivery times and claims process.
  • Pickups are booked from the next weekday. We don't offer same-day or emergency service.
  • We are not a carrier. USPS, FedEx and the other carriers move your parcels once we drop them off.

Items we can't take

  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives or fireworks
  • Loose lithium batteries, or damaged or recalled batteries
  • Flammable liquids, aerosols, compressed gases or corrosive chemicals
  • Controlled substances, cannabis or THC products, or prescription drugs
  • Biological specimens, or human or animal remains
  • Cash, negotiable instruments, bullion or loose precious stones
  • Counterfeit or stolen goods
  • Live animals or perishable food

We may decline anything that looks damaged, leaks or isn't packed well enough to travel. The full wording is in the Terms.
